• Found a room with an altar

  • Fought an undead and a priest

  • Found 6 keys on the priest

  • Found a hidden passage behind the altar

    • Switch hidden on statue on altar

• Followed passage into a huge cave

  • Saw a huge stash of treasure

  • Saw a huge snake creature with a woman’s head

  • Discussed fighting it but decided against

  • Smart decision, this turned out to be the god of this reptile cult

• Found prison cells

  • 4 of the keys used to enter the room and to open the cells

  • Told us more about what had happened to them

  • Known cultists: Constable, Carpenter parents

• Decided to lead the prisoners out of the caves

  • Encountered our rat friends

  • Bribed them with food and they let us pass

  • Left via the harpy den

• Returned to the swamp

  • Gave the prisoners some weapons (thank you Nigel)

  • Gave them instructions how to return to Orlein

Session 141 – “Team Mayor”

Summary

• Had left the dungeon and camped

  • Noticed some travellers through the swamp at night

  • Lizardmen with two humans (mayor and priestess of Orlein)

  • Attacked them before they could enter the dungeon

  • Captured both humans

  • Interrogated them

  • Both claimed the other one was working with the lizardmen

  • Based on prior information, the priestess seemed to be the one lying

• Next morning approached the dungeon and heard mutterings

  • Assumed an ambush and entered via the harpy den

  • Scouted the entrance where we confirmed an ambush

  • Lizardmen as well as humans

• Ventured deeper into the dungeon

  • Assuming not many lizardmen would be here now

  • Killed a lizardman to get the boat

• Eventually found the den of the lizardmen

  • Many sleeping ones

  • Played around with the idea of attacking them in their sleep

  • Couldn’t come up with a plan that would backfire

• Ventured and found stairs down into the second level of the dungeon

• Eventually found actually built rooms

  • Defeated an undead that seemed only to be killable by magic

• Session ended here

Session 140 – “Fish?”

Summary

• Returned to the dungeon

• Encountered a bunch of skeletons

• Found a strange room with a pool full of small fish

  • Did seem harmless and didn’t really react to anything

• Found a door marked with an X

  • Apparently a warning from the harpee that had her den in the rooms behind

  • Defeated the harpee and found some jewellery in her nest

• Crossed a crocodile filled cave

• Found a small cave with a pool, full of skeletons

  • They were lying around, to be save we just left this place alone

• Encountered some more lizard folk

  • They fled, we decided not to pursue, in case they had allies

• Some encounters with a snake and a giant weasel

• Left the dungeon

• Started to explore the dungeon

• Met some villagers that Inesh recognised

  • They mentioned “Explitica”, who might be the leader of their group

  • In the end they got killed

• Met some rats that Aelorya conversed with

  • Warned us about the mud

• Continued exploring

  • Met more villagers (some dead now, some escaped)

  • Met some lizard people (dead now)

  • Encountered some frog monsters hiding in mud

• Decided to retreat for now from the dungeon
